Sema Soygeniş and Murat Soygeniş are recognized by the University at Buffalo 2025 International Distinguished Alumni Award, based on their exceptional professional accomplishments, community service, research and scholarly activities. Architects and professors Sema Soygenis and Murat Soygenis, FAIA are lifelong team of architects and educators who have made contributions in practice and architectural education. Their work has created bridges between practice and the academy, research and architectural education. They always kept contributing to the public good both locally and globally, and both of them are collaborative and collegial alumni connected with the University at Buffalo community.
